It truly means a lot that you've taken the time to learn a little about me and the heart behind Roma Glow Photography.

Photography has never simply been about creating beautiful images for me.

It's about preserving the moments, relationships, and stories that make us who we are.

Whether I'm documenting a wedding, creating a Legacy & Memoir session, or quietly observing the moments between the moments...

My goal is always the same.

To help people feel seen.

My story began in Brașov, România. At three years old, I was adopted into the United States.

Growing up, I experienced both deep love and the many contrasting seasons of wondering where I truly belonged.

Those experiences taught me to notice the quiet stories people carry. The questions of identity. The longing to belong. The memories that shape us long after moments have passed.

There is a Romanian word that has stayed with me throughout my life:

Dor.

There isn't a perfect English translation for it. It describes a deep longing or ache for someone, somewhere, or something that lives within your heart—a longing woven together with love, memory, and hope.

In many ways, dor became the heartbeat of how I see the world.

Today, that perspective shapes the way I see people before I ever photograph them, but how I connect with the people I have the privilege of serving. I'm drawn to the stories that make us who we are, the people we love, the places that formed us, the moments that changed us, and the memories we hope never disappear.

My own story explains why I photograph the way I do.

But every time I pick up my camera, the focus shifts to yours.

If you invite me into your story, I promise to show up with curiosity instead of assumptions.

I'll listen before I photograph. I'll respect your boundaries.

I'll care about your experience just as much as the photographs we create together.

Whether your story is joyful, complicated, quiet, or still unfolding, I'll meet it with honesty and compassion.

Because this has never been about creating perfect photographs.

It's about creating photographs that still feel true years from now.

At the end of the day, this page isn't really about me.

It's about helping you know the person you're trusting with your story.

Once we're together, my attention shifts completely to you, to the people you love, the memories you're creating, and the legacy you're preserving.
